What ipacen is

A free community for automotive professionals: an engine simulator, a fault code lookup, a library of repair cases written by members, and a directory where members help each other. Reading is open to everyone; posting needs an account.

Technical information comes without guarantees

Simulator values, code descriptions and cases are typical examples, not manufacturer data. Always follow the service information for the vehicle and work safely, especially with fuel systems, high-voltage hybrids and airbags. ipacen is not liable for repairs carried out using information from the site, except where the law does not allow this to be excluded.

Your content

  • You keep the rights to what you write. By publishing you allow ipacen to show, store and adapt it on the site, worldwide and free of charge, also after you delete your account (published cases stay, without your name).
  • Never include number plates, VINs, customer names or other personal data. The admin may edit a case to remove them.
  • Only share repairs you actually did or saw, and say honestly whether the fix was confirmed.
  • No spam, advertising disguised as help, insults or illegal content. The directory is for helping colleagues, not for selling to car owners.

Moderation

Every case is reviewed by the site admin before it is published. The admin can publish it, ask for changes or reject it, and always tells you why. Comments and listings can be hidden and accounts suspended when they break these terms. You can report a profile or comment with the "Report" link; anyone, member or not, can also write to alin.oajdea@gmail.com. If you disagree with a decision, reply to that address and it will be looked at again.

Points, ranking and the directory order

Points come only from contributions: published cases, first-case bonus, confirmed fixes, helpful votes received and comments, in the amounts shown on the ranking page. The ranking and the default directory order are sorted by these points. Nobody can pay for points or a higher position, and donations never add points. Votes from very new accounts, votes on your own cases and votes above a daily limit don't count.

Ads and affiliate links

Some pages show a small number of ads for workshop tools, always labelled "Sponsored". They are affiliate links: ipacen may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Ads never influence cases, codes or rankings.

Private messages

Messages are between members only. Be professional; you can block or report anyone. Agreements you make with another member (jobs, parts, tool loans) are between the two of you.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
