P0068MAP/MAF – Throttle Position Correlation
What it means
The airflow the ECU calculates from the throttle position doesn't match the airflow measured by the MAF or MAP sensor. Air is getting in where it shouldn't, or one of the sensors is wrong.
Symptoms
- Rough or high idle
- Hesitation or limp mode
- Stalling when coming to a stop
Common causes
- Vacuum leak after the throttle body
- Dirty throttle body or a throttle that needs relearning
- Faulty MAF or MAP sensor
- Faulty throttle position sensor
What to check first
- Compare MAF g/s, MAP and throttle angle at idle with known-good values
- Smoke-test the intake for leaks
- Clean the throttle body and run the relearn procedure
